Why Have a Stationary Bike Race?
The Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba Stationary Bike Race is our Association’s only fundraiser. We use the funds raised at the
race to enrich the lives of individuals and families living with CP throughout Manitoba.
What Is It?
Fourteen people get together and form a team; each person on the 14-member team cycles for 25 minutes. Each one collects pledges
for their ride.
It’s a family event and it’s fabulous fun.
When and Where Is It?
Winnipeg’s next race is Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Wellness Institute, 1075 Leila Avenue, beside the Seven Oaks Hospital.
The first race starts at 9:30 a.m.
Brandon hosts its race Saturday, March 18 at the Towne Centre in Brandon, starting at 10 a.m. Call David if you want to get
involved at 1-204-982-4842 or email@example.com
How Can I Help?
You can form a team by rounding up 14 friends, family and business colleagues. Call Sarah at the CP Office and I can register you.
or call 204-982-4811.
As a volunteer, you can help put the race together and keep it running smoothly.
Volunteers help with:
- Greeting and registering cyclists
- Feeding the hungry
- Setting up and clearing up
- A myriad of other jobs.
Why Should I Get Involved?
You can meet people while you are helping people. We call it a win/win situation. There are prizes to be won, goals to be achieved,
money to be raised. People to help.
